im so freaking happy :)

i found out today that lostprophets were doing three warm-up shows for download and that London Astoria was one of them. its not just the fact that i get to see them again, its's that they're coming back to astoria, in my opinion, the best fucking venue there is. i've seen them sell out astoria twice before this and they were both two of the best nights of my life. i really appreciate they're coming back here, cos it must mean they have as fun with us (us as in the fans obviously) there as we do.

the second best bit to it is that it is right after the kids in glass houses tour, 6 days to be exact, so june and the end of may is going be fucking amazing.

oh yeah the freakish part of today, was so totally weird. i woke up this afternoon and with out thinking i put on my mega lolz top that i hadn't worn in literally months. and its weird that of all days i chose to wear it, was the day that the download warm-up shows get announced.

i get to go to bed happy ^^

 

So i haven't posted here, or even been on here in a while and it feels like i have to get re adjusted to this site all over again, its weird.
i've just started to post over on livejournal, which is quite alright in my opinion, but the kids on there are just phsycho, its crazy. i'll elaborate on that at another time.
lately, i feel like my body clock is just completely messed up, i'm writing this at 02:43 and when i go to bed i probably won't wake up until 3pm, at least. its not just cause its the holidays because i have been doing this while at school. its got to the point where my mum has even noticed it, and thats never ever happened before.
oh well....

so i was on myspace and just got an urge to go back on buzznet, even though this damn website has annoyed me and caused problems, maybe not directly towards me (if you look at my first journal post on here you might notice why), before.

i may or may not continue posting on here in the future, but i just felt like it needed an update for now and although i doubt any of my 20 friends will read this, i felt i needed to release this "urge" in a journal, not neccessarily needed on live journal.

one final thing before i close this blog, is my outrage at tonights arsenal v liverpool champions league game. well, i would call it an outrage, im an arsenal fan, i just got annoyed that we were losing then we equalised again in the last 5 minutes of the match and literally 2 minutes later we gave liverpool a fucking penalty, obviously losing the match for us. it's funny watching my brother reaction, he got wine ever where and almost broke our new hd tv in outrage. i don't know what arsenal are doing at the moment but we need to sort ourselves out, we couldn't hold a fucking pass together tonight.

(heh, i feel funny writing about football, considering i've never been able to hold a proper opinion on games before)

1. Green Day - American idiot
this song literally changed my life, it got me into a whole different genre of music and opened my mind to other things. not only did it get me into punk music and older punk stuff like the clash, it also got me into rock bands in genral cos at the time i listened to hip hop and Rnb. Plus the lyrics really stood out to me and the guitar riffs in it are just amazing.

2. Start Something - Lostprophets
this is my alltime favourite tune by lostprophets, the lyrics are simply amazing, and the music is fucking awesome. They are my favourite band and this song has always stood out to me, the whole of the start something album is incredible, everything about it is amazing. i probably couldnt live without hearing this song at least once a day, haha.

3. Skeletons - Kids In Glass Houses
easily the catchiest song i have ever listened to, kids in glass houses are one of the best  live bands i have ever seen.  Skeletons  is definatelty up their in my favourite alltime songs, the lyrics are amazing and the music is just absolutely catchy, that you wont be able to get it out of your head allday. they are also one of my favourite bands, you have to see them live, they put on an incredible show.

4. The Used - Buried My Self Alive
The  first song i ever listened to by the used was lunacy fringe, although i have been into them a couple of years, iv only really got into them properly this year after Berth was released. But when i listened to this song and had seen them live,  they suddenly became one of my three favourite bands. this is definately my fav song and live, its outstanding. i cant stop listening to it.

5. Rape me - Nirvana
Just after i got into green day, i found out about nirvana and downloaded a couple of their tracks and i came across this one, being a immature 14 year old i found the song amusing cos of the title. but i got past it and i became seriosuly addicted to it, after that i was obsessed with nirvana for ages and they are pretty goodamn amazing. i wish i had been old enough to have seen them live when they were around
